In case you haven’t yet seen the movie adaptation of Cheryl Strayed’s magnificent memoir, Wild, a trailer that opens with an Emily Dickinson quote is a pretty damned good reason to do so. It’s the dark edge to Annie Dillard’s Pilgrim at Tinker Creek, the lucid light to Robert Walser’s The Walk, and a generational classic.
